The power and influence of
Rinder's Six is growing. After uncovering and foiling the plot by Rayton and
Lady Hannah of the Great House of Seden to destroy the Council of the Knights of
Rinder and conspire with the Baron General Wade III of Caerloon, they have
ferreted out the deal between the Blood Clan in Raimead and the House
D'Urdenterrad of the drow city Lentadirrec, deep beneath the Raimead Mountains,
to assassinate Sir Bryant, the current Duke of Raimead, upon his coronation and
ascension to the throne of Rinder. In so doing, they have gathered enough
evidence for Bryant to look into the renegotiation of the Great Dwarven Pact
personally, virtually ensuring the eventual lifting of the Dwarven Blockade.
But now Rinder's Six begin
their most difficult and important quest yet. Along the way they have gained
the Ring of Water Command from Karelth, the uncle of the party's mage, Crayne.
Now they must locate the Ring of Fire Command, at the request of the High
Priest Towers of the Caste of Anhur in Parton, before the mages of the Red
Dragon School get to it! And all they've got with which to begin their quest is
an ancient, delicate tome written in a long-lost language belonging to early
clerics of the Caste of Hathe.
Once the tome is
translated, however, the battle is far from won. The tome will lead the party
to parts of the realm they have so far only dreamed of. Ancient, long destroyed
castles, deep and dark dungeons, fantastic giants and monsters await them, and
much more. And so they undertake The Quest for the Ring of Fire Command. All in
the name of the Kingdom of Rinder.
