Call for Adventurers:
Posted on the door of the tavern, you notice the parchment. "Calling for adventurers to aid the Knights of Rinder! Looking for soldiers, magic-users, and all who are interested and qualified. A fee for services will be rendered upon completion of the mission. Apply within."
Are you interested? If so, the ale is flowing, the lute is playing, and an adventure in the Kingdom of Rinder may lie in your future!
"The Battle for Rinder" is an AD&D 2nd Edition campaign, played by email correspondence, which takes place in a realm of my own design. There will be a mix of combat, puzzle-solving, and political intrigue. I am looking for three to six players, levels one through three to participate in the campaign which will last at least two months, perhaps more if the players maintain their interest.
I am looking for all classes of characters, though a good balance within the group in necessary. I will allow any standard class or race listed in the Players Handbook.
Please submit character sheets to me by Friday, October 23 at midnight. Character sheets should include all relevant status plus a character background/history. I will select the party based on the strengths of the characters submitted, their background/history, and which characters will create an effective, balanced group. I would like to begin play with the first turn posted on Sunday, October 25, so character submissions received after midnight on 11/23 will not be accepted or considered.
I look forward to an exciting campaign and encourage all who are interested to submit a character. I am a DM with many years of experience both on and offline, and I hope to run an exciting, enjoyable game!
